Amenities
Briar Patch Cottage features many amenities to make
your vacation stay pleasant.
On the porch there is comfortable wicker furniture
for lazing away peaceful times, and for those who
enjoy cooking, there is an herb garden as well as
pots of fresh herbs.
Air conditioning, TV with VCR, and Radio with CD player.
Large eat-in kitchen fully equipped with large refrigerator,
gas stove, microwave and cooking utensils.
Expansive private yard. Charcoal grill for outdoor
use.
Our Rates
Briar Patch Cottage is available weekly or monthly.
Rates are seasonal as follows. Please ask about special
rates if you wish to stay all summer (three months).
3 Day Minimum
Week runs Saturday to Saturday
In-Season (May 19 - November 15)
3 day weekend - $400
One week rate - $800
2 weeks - $1400
Off-Season (November 16 - May 14)
3 day weekend - $300
1 week - $600
2 weeks - $1000
Policies
Check-in is Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
Check-out is Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
No Smoking is allowed in the cottage. There is an
open front porch where you may enjoy smoking outdoors.
Pet policy determined on an individual basis.
Reservations
To make a reservation, please contact
us to request your desired dates.
We will book you for those dates. To view available
dates, click
here.
A deposit of 1/3 of your fees is required to confirm
your reservation.
We accept personal check or money order. Please note,
the balance is due upon arrival.
Cancellations
Cancellations made six months prior to your expected
arrival date will receive a full refund less a $35.00
processing fee.
Cancellations made three or more months prior to your
expected arrival date will receive a refund of 50%
of your deposit.
What to bring
Beach towels, golf clubs, tennis rackets and fishing
gear. Your boat if you like!
Your own preferred food, Kitchen is stocked with only
salt, pepper, sugar and seasonings.
Your favorite video tapes or plan to rent them at
a Salisbury store (18 miles). There is a small selection
in the cottage.
Departure
Please empty the refrigerator and remove all food
items that you purchased. Ample containers for discarding
unwanted items are available in the kitchen.
Do a "walk-through" of the cottage to ensure that
you do not leave any belongings in drawers, closets
or on the porch.
Don't forget to check the outside area for any bathing
suits or towels you may have left to dry
